BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Chicago, Keith E. Horton graduated from Yale University with a degree in Economics. Keith began his career working as a management consultant for Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, LLP. In this role, Keith advised international companies regarding business expansion and cost reduction strategies.

To expand his knowledge of the legal challenges faced by businesses, Keith earned his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Elder Law Journal. Early in his legal career, Keith focused on proving the self-proclaimed “legal experts” wrong. In his first case – an appeal that experienced litigators projected a “loser” – Mr. Horton defied expectations and successfully reversed the six-year jail sentence of his client. People v. Olson, 836 N.E.2d 110 (Ill. App. Ct. 2005).

Prior to starting his own law practice, Keith was associated with two large Chicago law firms, where he represented individuals and corporations in the sports, financial services, and manufacturing industries. He also represented closely-held corporations, non-profits and municipalities in administrative law proceedings.

Keith is a former athlete, and a lifelong Chicago Bulls fan.
